Through the Community Partnership Program, MPAC engages with the Peel Region performing arts community by seeking expressions of interest twice a year from a range of individuals and organisations to develop co-productions at the Centre, with the Centre seeking to add value to each show through venue, technical production, creative and marketing support.
In developing the Community Partnership Program, MPAC seeks to develop a diverse performing arts program that is embedded in this community, and to seek to develop shows that tell local stories.
The Community Partnership Program will present 39 Steps with London Street Theatre in June, The Cheap & Dodgy Variety Show in support of the Lesley Couzens Arts Fellowship in December, Christmas Creations with FOMPAC in support of Pat Thomas House in December, and is working with Pulse WA to present a new circus work The Harmonike in January.
