The showcase presents the finest wearable art from around the globe through a highly entertaining stage performance. The full-length production promises to delight audiences, incorporating a sense of play, musicality and theatricality, while presenting spectacular wearable art.

More than a competition, Wearable Art Mandurah builds capacity through workshops, showcase events and exhibitions of works.

Stories are shared, connections formed and skills developed through participants’ creation and presentation of wearable art. The Wearable Art Mandurah team supports and encourages participants throughout the entire design, creation, judging and presentation process.

A multidisciplinary extravaganza, celebrating artworks displayed on the human form with song, dance and exuberant community spirit.

Rather than a traditional catwalk style parade, Artistic Director Helen Duncan pushes artists’ concepts further with a sequence of stunning, witty, sensual and bizarre presentations that combine strong performance elements to captivate while the wearable artworks are displayed in memorable scenes.
