Kohan is a young proud Noongar man aged 24, living with the superpower of Autism who is originally from Kinjarling Country. Kohan currently resides in Port Kennedy on Wadjuk & Binjareb Country with a very supportive foster family who all work very hard in supporting his dreams of being a "Business Man". Kohan has always had an artistic flair and began a journey of discovery to see how this could be harnessed and progressed into starting and operating a micro business of his own design.

When Kohan first engaged with his microenterprise team his art was predominantly outline drawings of favourite characters from movies. Over the last 2 years Kohan has been working side by side with an Art Mentor who quickly identified that Kohan was born to have a paintbrush in his hand. Kohan  has now further engaged and developed skills in painting with Acrylic and Watercolour mediums, finding a new way to express his vivid imagination, his dreams and culture.

This has enabled expanded growth in his product lines, as well as selling at markets and art group exhibitions reaching a wider audience. Kohan has also now authored and illustrated two story books he hopes to have published. This is Kohans first solo exhibition “Falling Into The Sky” which could not have happened without his talent, his family, microenterprise & art team, Manpac and Bendigo Bank.

Kohans mission is to put a smile on the faces of everyone he meets in person, as well as those that interact with his art, books and product lines within his microenterprise brand of “Imaged By Kobo”. Kohan is an inspirational young Indigenous man and considers himself limitless in all he does hence being able to “Fall Into The Sky”, Kohan’s future is very very bright.
