Keepsake: ‘A small item kept in memory of the person who gave it or originally owned it.’

“As a part of this year’s Mother’s Day celebrations Mandurah Performing Arts Centre invited artists and members of the public to create an artwork for an exhibition in our main gallery that coincides with Whisky and Boots’ touching Mama Stitch performance.

Everyone was invited to respond to objects or words that evoke memories or serve as reminders of your mother. This could be something precious passed down to you, an everyday object or words and phrases associated with the memories of your mother.

OPENING LAUNCH: 6pm May 6th – Free event, all welcome.
