The Mandurah Young Songwriters Showcase was a fantastic celebration of emerging musical talent in our community. Coordinated by Mandurah Performing Arts Centre in partnership with Chop Street Music, the program supports young people to develop their songwriting skills, explore their creativity and gain valuable experience performing original music for a live audience.
The showcase was well attended, with a wonderful atmosphere and a great night enjoyed by performers and audience members alike. The talent, creativity, and confidence demonstrated by the young artists highlighted the value of providing opportunities for emerging musicians to develop and share their work.
We extend our sincere thanks to Chop Street Music for their work and commitment to developing the program, and to The John and Bella Perry Foundation for their generous support.
We are incredibly proud of the young people who participated and grateful to everyone who helped bring the showcase to life. We look forward to seeing where these talented young performers take their music next and what they go on to create.
