I AM
Chorus Community Connect chose to bring the faces and stories of every individual in their community to the forefront. Through the creative expressions of poetry, portraiture and painting, the I AM Exhibition celebrates each person as an individual — their unique talents, hopes, dreams and the things that matter most to them.
At its heart, I AM is about identity, connection and belonging. It invites us to look beyond the surface, to listen to each person’s story and to recognise the richness, diversity and humanity that make our community who we are.
Opens Thursday 3 December at 10.30am in ManPAC’s East Foyer, as part of the City of Mandurah’s International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) celebrations.
Chorus is a community service organisation, connecting, empowering, and supporting, seniors, people with a disability through local, community driven care.
Chorus Community Connect is an inclusive, creative hub providing activities including painting, chair yoga, drumming, music, craft and dance for social connection and well-being
The 2026 Western Australian theme for International Day of People with Disability is ‘Valued. Included. Leading’, recognising the importance of leadership by, and employment of, people with disability.
