JUKEBOX HIT PARADE OF THE 50’S & 60’S

Glenn Starr’s Hit Parade is back — And it’s all new!

Following the huge success of his previous production, Glenn Starr returns to theatres with a brand-new Hit Parade packed with the unforgettable music of the 50s and 60s. When Glenn Starr took his Hit Parade on the road, audiences embraced the show for its celebration of the songs they grew up with. But when the final curtain came down, there was one request he kept hearing: “When are you bringing it back?”

The answer is now.

The All-New Glenn Starr Hit Parade – Unforgettable Hits of the 50s & 60s brings a completely new selection of songs to the stage, featuring music made famous by some of the era’s biggest names, including Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran, Richie Valens, Del Shannon, Bobby Vee, The Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Turtles, Gene McDaniels, Wayne Fontana, The Animals, The Easybeats, The Temptations and Neil Diamond.

From the raw excitement of early rock ’n’ roll to the pop revolution of the 60s, the show celebrates the songs that filled jukeboxes, topped the charts and became part of everyday life. And one of the most popular features from the original production is making a return — the TV Medley. The idea remains the same: a celebration of those unforgettable television themes that audiences of the 50s and 60s still remember today. But this time, every song in the TV Medley is brand new.

Glenn has gone back through the television memories of the era to create an entirely new collection of classic themes — the sort of songs that can have an entire theatre singing along within seconds.

With spectacular visuals, stories, nostalgia and plenty of audience interaction, the new production brings together the music and memories of an era that continues to resonate generations later.

New songs. New TV Medley. Same unforgettable era.
