Australia’s most gloriously contradictory singer-songwriter celebrates her new gothic folk masterpiece THE KISS AND THE ABYSS, and twenty years since her debut album LITTLE EVE.
KATE MILLER-HEIDKE has always lived in a place of musical contradictions; opera and pop, theatrical and folky, epic and intimate, heartfelt and funny, classical and of the moment. Her new album THE KISS AND THE ABYSS is no exception – a powerful, timely, and timeless record in the style of gothic folk.
Alongside the new tracks, Kate will be digging into the long-buried treasure of her platinum debut LITTLE EVE on its 20th anniversary, bringing back much-requested songs she hasn’t played in years.
Join Kate with her longtime collaborator, the virtuosic KEIR NUTTALL on guitar, plus other special guests, for a spectacular night of new songs from THE KISS AND THE ABYSS, rediscovered treasures from LITTLE EVE and the early days of Kate’s career, plus highlights from the journey between them that have made her one of Australia’s most acclaimed and cherished artists.”
This is a show for devoted fans and curious newcomers alike, and is ALL AGES. Families and children are very welcome – one of them might even end up on stage with Kate!
Follow the stars, watch out for sirens, and don’t wait too long: tickets will not last.
