The Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery and Foyer Gallery at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre came alive last Friday as artists, family, friends and art lovers gathered to celebrate two exciting new exhibitions: The Story So Far by Amanda Harris and MOVING LIFE – 9×5 Art Prize 2026.
Opening both exhibitions on the same evening created a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the breadth of artistic talent across our region. Guests experienced The Story So Far by Amanda Harris, the local ceramic artist’s debut solo exhibition in the Foyer Gallery, before exploring more than 200 original artworks in MOVING LIFE – 9×5 Art Prize 2026 at the Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery.
The celebrations continued as red dots quickly began filling the gallery walls, with collectors snapping up artworks throughout the evening. The strong early sales across both exhibitions were a fantastic reflection of the quality of work on display and the community’s support for local artists, with several of Amanda Harris’ ceramic works already finding new homes.

Congratulations to all of this year’s MOVING LIFE – 9×5 Art Prize entrants, and to Amanda Harris on the successful opening of The Story So Far, her debut solo exhibition.
