Mandurah Youth Arts Collective Exhibition
SONDER describes the recognition that every person we encounter is living a life as intricate, private and complete as our own.
For the Mandurah Youth Arts Collective, this idea became a way of exploring empathy, individuality, identity and perspective. Across the exhibition, eight emerging artists respond to SONDER through themes including family, memory, communication, difference, everyday experiences and imagined worlds.
Together, the works invite us to look beyond our own perspective and consider the rich inner worlds that exist within every life.

Mandurah Youth Arts Collective
The Mandurah Youth Arts Collective is ManPAC’s inaugural nine-week contemporary visual arts development program for emerging artists aged 16–25. Participants explored artwork development, exhibition planning, artist statements, marketing, documentation, installation and curation, culminating in this public exhibition.
The Collective was proudly presented by Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, with generous support from the John and Bella Perry Foundation, with Community Bank Halls Head supporting The Mez Arts Space.
