Youth Engagement Officer
One year part-time contract position.A unique opportunity exists at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre (ManPAC) to implement ManPAC’s Youth Strategy through developing and delivering four pillars to engage, connect, partner and respond with outcomes that address youth market needs, extend our engagement with this audience, and increase attendance of this demographic.
Knowledge of current youth arts practice and the ability to educate potential audiences about it; an interest in and sensitivity to youth artists, audiences and the community, and the broader benefits of engagement with arts and culture form key elements of the selection criteria. Knowledge of WA school curriculum and the ability to connect ManPAC’s program offering to them would be beneficial.This is a one year part-time position (3 days or 22.8 hours per week) with excellent working conditions in a superb environment.
