Artist Statement:
The exhibition presents a compelling journey across almost three decades of creative exploration. Featuring wall assemblages and sculptures crafted from polypropylene, acrylic glass and other industrial materials, the works showcase a strong emphasis on geometric form and spatial tension, some challenging traditional ideas of perspective and balance.
Monoprints are inspired by architectural elements, relate to everyday objects and also textiles – the latter reflecting the destructive side of ‘Fast Fashion’.
A collection of paintings, rooted in the artist’s immediate coastal environment, brings an organic and atmospheric aspect to the exhibition, grounding an abstracted take in lived experience.
A selection of unreadable text-based works implies that a message exists. The viewer might not know what is being said, but the presence of text cues them to expect meaning—so it engages the brain differently than purely abstract work.
Exhibition dates: 26th October – 21st November 2025.
Exhibition Opening Event: 3pm 26th October, All are welcome to join.
