Mandjar Art Awards 2020

This is the seventeenth year of the annual Mandjar Art Awards. The Mandjar Art Awards inaugural exhibition was held in 2005, this previously acquisitive award was established as a foundation for the Mandurah Performing Arts Inc, Art Collection. Going forward from this year we will no longer be acquiring the winning artworks, which will allow the winning artists to either retain or sell on their work, and we’ve introduced an spceial award for the Young Emerging Artists in our community too. The Mandjar Art Award defines our experiences and provides inspiration for people to share, nurture, educate, and enjoy arts and culture that enriches the lives of all who visit and live within our community. A highlight at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre every year, the award is without a theme, inclusive and open to everyone residing in W.A – if you can apply a medium to a canvas, board or paper, then grab a form and enter!

As we are now closed to the public, we have had many enquiries about the collection of Mandjar Artwork.

We are currently putting a timetable together to allow you to collect your entry in a safe environment with no risk to yourself or our staff.

Please be patient as we work out this roster and contact you personally, and be assured we are taking good care or all works of art in the meantime.
