Multiple genres landscape, wildlife especially native flowers and birds, animals, macro, urban streetscape, portraiture, sports and creative - from the Local photography club

Our club, based in Mandurah, Western Australia, is for amateur photographers who meet monthly for our images to be appraised and so develop our creative skills. The club inaugurated in August 1972, and we have progressed from colour slides and prints from film negatives, to digital imaging. The club holds regular workshops, led by external and member expert photographers, where members can develop and practice camera skills and computer-based image development. We regularly enjoy outings around our beautiful state.  The club is affiliated with the Western Australian Photographic Federation, and share their resources. Our members are enjoying considerable success in state and national competition, but we are keen to help excite beginners and other members of the community in our passion.  Members can also get unbiased advice on photographic equipment purchases. Our members love a variety of genres: landscape, wildlife especially native flowers and birds, animals, macro, urban streetscape, portraiture, sports and creative.
