Leading Australian outdoor painting festival Plein Air Down Under returns to Mandurah from September 24 to 26, with local, national and international artists.

The Plein Air Down Under outdoor painting festival presents artists painting throughout Mandurah’s Western foreshore, cultural precinct and the nearby historical town of Pinjarra over the long weekend of 24th-26th September.

The festival includes day and evening paint outs, painting demonstrations, over $8,000 in awards and prizes and two exhibitions.

Two internationally recognised feature artists – Tiffanie Mang (USA) and Leon Holmes (Aus) – will be visible and painting throughout the festival.  Visitors and art lovers will be able to watch up close as they weave their magic on the canvas, then move between the many professional and amateur artists painting throughout each day.

Evening festivities continue inside the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre from 4pm on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September.  This free event is open to artists and spectators and includes painting demonstrations, live music and exhibitions.
