Proof Positive – Peel Printmaking Group Exhibition
Alcoa Mandurah Art GalleryExploring the Boundaries of Printmaking.
Step into the dynamic world of printmaking, where tradition meets innovation and artistic voices come together in a celebration of texture, colour, and form. The Peel Printmaking collective brings together a diverse group of artists, each with their own unique perspective and approach to the medium. From intimate personal narratives to thought-provoking social commentary, their works span a wide spectrum of themes, reflecting individual journeys and cultural influences.
Working from private studios and the printmaking space at Murray Arts and Crafts in Edenvale, Pinjarra, these artists experiment with an array of techniques. Traditional methods such as etching, lino, and screen printing coexist with contemporary approaches that integrate digital technology and mixed media, pushing the boundaries of what printmaking can achieve.
This exhibition highlights the vibrant energy and creative exploration that define the Peel Printmaking collective. Through their distinctive processes and artistic visions, they invite audiences to experience the multifaceted world of printmaking in new and inspiring ways.
The collaborative nature of Peel Printmakers fosters an environment of creative dialogue, where ideas can be exchanged, techniques shared, and projects developed collectively.
Official opening 6pm 23rd May. Free event, all welcome.
