This body of work explores the sensory pleasures of being immersed in the ocean and shifting light and movement within a landscape.

Western Australian artist Narelle Higson has created a series of artworks for our main gallery space, which explores her love of mark making, the sea and the movement of light across a landscape.

Higson’s work is created using oil pastels layered with cold wax, which bridges the gap between drawing and painting to create vibrant images that are countered by the stillness of the subjects within them.

Scrib.ble opens on 28 January at 6.30pm and continues until 11 March. All are welcome to attend.
