From the old worlds to the new world, the LiveLighter Hot Shore Shuffle showcases a diversity of high-quality music and dance from around the globe

Enjoy these free Sunday afternoon sojourns 1pm – 3pm featuring some of our top multicultural talent, supported by Healthway promoting the LiveLighter message, we are keen to support our community to change the food and physical activity environment.

Selendang Sutra are an exquisite Indonesian dance troupe that present a selection of cultural dances and traditional music.  Led by Astit Olszowy, they perform beautiful traditional dances from the many islands of Indonesia in a range of authentically colourful costumes. For their Hot Shore Shuffle show, they will be joined by a traditional gamelan orchestra ensemble to deliver a delightful Indonesian cultural experience of distinctive melodic percussion and elegant dance.

Start the fun early with the Peel Multicultural Association annual Festival of Flowers from 10am. Enjoy a packed day of entertainment including craft activities, displays, community stalls and a traditional costume parade in Mandjar Square!

The Festival will kick off at 10am with a colourful parade of performers and cultural artists in traditional dress, followed by floral-themed craft activities for all. Join in the fun and celebrations by making something crafty you can take home with you or make a flower for the Flower Arch. Discover something new about flowers, trees, bees and other pollinating insects.
