Joe Camilleri (singer, songwriter, saxophonist, producer and the brains behind The Black Sorrows) is one of the most genuinely talented figures in Australian music. He has celebrated over 50 years in the industry and has earned the reputation as a hard working musician who never fails to deliver and knows how to connect with his audience – he is a performer with an undeniable energy and love of it all.
Since their formation in 1984, The Black Sorrows have toured Australia more times than anyone can remember, played sold out shows across Europe, won the ARIA for Best Band‚ and sold more than a million albums worldwide.
From Daddy Cool to Mondo Rock and as a solo artist with no less than 26 ARIA Top 40 hits to his credit as a singer, songwriter and producer, Ross Wilson is one of Australia’s most awarded, respected and well-known artists. From the legendary band Daddy Cool, whose No. 1 anthem Eagle Rock and debut album “Daddy Who?” smashed all previous sales records in Australia, to the 1977 formation of Mondo Rock, delivering 80’s hits Cool World, State of The Heart, Chemistry, No Time, and Come Said The Boy and into the 21st century as a solo performer, Wilson has never been out of the limelight.
Twice inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, Wilson’s live performances are legendary and sold over two million records.
