Smooth Sailing and Big Smiles at Mandurah’s Morning Concert!

What a morning! The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre was all sunshine and smooth grooves as “More Than a Feeling” brought the ultimate Yacht Rock experience to town. From the first note, the audience was hooked, clapping, singing, and even dancing along to beloved soft rock anthems from the ’70s and ’80s.

Hosted by the wonderful Louise Anton, the band delivered hit after hit with pitch-perfect harmonies, velvety guitar licks, and that signature laid-back style that defines Yacht Rock. It wasn’t long before the theatre felt more like a floating party deck, complete with an ocean breeze of nostalgia.

From Hall & Oates to Toto, Michael McDonald to Steely Dan, every tune sparked memories and smiles. One delighted audience member was overheard saying, “It was like stepping back into my favourite radio station!”
