Act One Drama Group Film Screening – Lights, camera… celebration!

Lights, camera… celebration! The Act One Drama Group Film Screening recently brought the red-carpet treatment to Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, celebrating the group’s latest film projects.

Participants arrived dressed for the occasion and enjoyed a premiere-style experience — complete with popcorn, a red carpet entrance and an audience ready to cheer them on. The screening showcased a series of short films created during recent projects, giving everyone the chance to see their creativity and hard work come to life on the big screen.

Following the screenings, participants were presented with certificates recognising their achievements as actors — a well-deserved celebration of the passion and dedication they bring to the group each week.

Act One is an inclusive drama group for people with disability who love to perform, meeting weekly at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre during term time.

The program is proudly supported by the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport.
