Wading Out Exhibition Launch — Celebrating Connection Through Mandurah’s Art of Wellbeing Programs

ManPAC was buzzing with excitement today as we launched Wading Out in the Community Bank Halls Head Mezz Arts Space. Participants from across our Art of Wellbeing programs came together to celebrate this inspiring new exhibition by the Art of Wellbeing Painting Group.

This year, the exhibition featured a fantastic collaboration with our poetry collective Inkclusive, with paintings by the Painting Group inspired by poems written by the poetry group. Members from across our Art of Wellbeing programs, including the 1000 Hearts group, Inkclusive, and the Painting Group, mingled with ManPAC staff, sharing stories and connecting through their creative journeys.

All of these programs are the passion project of our Community Programs Coordinator, Mark Labrow, who thanked everyone for their commitment and for helping shape these groups into supportive and inspiring spaces.

As we move toward 2026, today’s celebration felt like the perfect moment for reflection and renewed energy. We are proud of every artist involved in Wading Out and grateful to all our supporters — Community Bank Halls Head, FOMPAC (Friends of ManPAC), and the Department of Creative Industries Tourism and Sport — who make these Art of Wellbeing programs possible.

Wading Out is open from 10 December 2025 to 13 January 2026. We invite you to come experience this thoughtful and uplifting collection.
